Ubuntu Halfway House
The Ubuntu House is a place of safety/halfway home for newborn babies, given up by their mothers, mostly saved from abortions and rejection due to HIV or abandoned and sometimes just thrown away.
The Ubuntu House opened in September 2003 and have already cared for 381 (August 2010) babies of which 369 were placed with adopted forever parents. Currently there are 12 small babies at this home waiting for their forever parents. The aim is to have these babies adopted before the age of three months but sometimes for various reasons they stay for longer periods.
SA LITHO label printers supports the Ubuntu House through monthly donations that contribute towards the feeding and caring of the newborn babies. Our hearts go out to every new baby that arrives at the Ubuntu House and we hope that our contribution will make a difference in the lives of these beautiful children.
